Check two details on any 2017 RX 580 8GB listing: the 4GB version is a separate part, and many refurbished imports are the slower 2048SP variant with 2,048 stream processors instead of the full 2,304. Ask for a GPU-Z screenshot confirming 8GB of GDDR5 memory, 2,304 shaders, and an unmodified BIOS.
Board power is 185W via an 8-pin or 8-plus-6-pin PCIe arrangement, and AMD now keeps the Polaris architecture on legacy maintenance drivers only.
