Image credits

The category photos next to each part type (on the homepage and each category hub) are openly licensed, found via Openverse and reviewed individually before use. They illustrate the category only. A part’s own page shows a product image of that exact model, or the category photo where none was found.

Part images

Product images on part pages are manufacturer images supplied through Open Icecat, or, where Icecat has none, a studio-style photo from a new UK eBay listing of the same model. They belong to their manufacturers and sellers, and are shown to identify the part. Photos beside each recent sale are eBay’s thumbnail of that listing.

No open-licensed case photo cleared the bar for use, so that category keeps its line-art icon.
