Before you buy or sell a used RX 6500 XT
Built on a mobile RDNA 2 die in 2022, the 4GB GDDR6 RX 6500 XT connects over only four PCIe 4.0 lanes. Putting it in an older PCIe 3.0 motherboard cuts bandwidth in half and causes severe frame rate drops, so verify your board and CPU support PCIe 4.0.
This 107W card needs one 6-pin or 8-pin power lead, provides only two display outputs, and lacks hardware H.264 and HEVC video encoding for streaming or recording.
