What the sales show

About 7 sales a week in the four weeks to 20 Oct.

Before you buy or sell a used i7-8700K

Six cores and twelve threads with a 4.7GHz boost distinguish the 95W i7-8700K from the locked 65W i7-8700, which is a separate part. You need a 300-series LGA1151 motherboard with DDR4, and specifically Z370 or Z390 to use the unlocked multiplier.

Retail boxes came without a heatsink, while integrated graphics are built in. Because the heatspreader uses internal thermal paste rather than solder, ask the seller if the chip has ever been delidded.
