Before you buy or sell a used Ryzen 5 2600

Built on Zen+, this 65W six-core, 12-thread AM4 processor boosts to 3.9 GHz and lacks integrated graphics, requiring a discrete graphics card. It is a separate part from the 95W Ryzen 5 2600X, which clocks higher.

Check chipset compatibility before buying: 300-series, 400-series, and X570 boards support Zen+ chips, whereas B550 and A520 motherboards do not officially support the 2600. Confirm whether the Wraith Stealth cooler is included and check the underside pins.
